8. Integration of YouTube videos

Videos are embedded on this website. For this we use a service provided by YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA ("Youtube"). YouTube is a subsidiary of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA ("Google"). In this context, YouTube and Google collect and process personal data from users of this website.

We embed the videos in YouTube's "extended data protection mode" in order to reduce the scope of data processing. Nevertheless, YouTube collects and processes certain user data at the latest when a video is started, in particular the IP address, the website visited and the date and time the video was called up. Data may also be processed when you call up a page on which a YouTube video is embedded. According to earlier statements from Google, this was not the case in enhanced privacy mode, but more recent statements from Google leave open the possibility that this has since changed.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can also link the information collected to your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before accessing a page with an embedded YouTube video. In addition, YouTube uses cookies to analyze user behavior and display personalized advertising. If you do not agree to the use of cookies, you can prevent them by making the appropriate settings in your browser (see the "Cookies" section). Furthermore, YouTube can establish a connection to Google's "DoubleClick" advertising network. We are not aware of any details about data processing by YouTube or Google, and we cannot influence them any further.

You can access Google's data protection declaration, which also includes the YouTube service, under the following link:https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

In this context, data can also be processed on Google servers in the USA. For the USA, the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision based on the so-called “Privacy Shield” (file number C/2016/4176).

The legal basis for data collection and processing through the integration of YouTube videos is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR.
